It's dying, of course.
Related, In 3 months and 6 days we will have our 14th Annual EVE is DYING!!!! day. woot.
For my dying day gift, I'd like a pony. A dead one, because it's dying day of curse. |

And thank goodness for that. The only things on Earth that are both popular and 'good' at the same time are Air and Water. Everything thing else that appeals to the masses sucks. |

There are a ton of great games out there and I disagree with your opinion that these types of games suck. There are probably a vast majority of gamers which would like to probably say spending hours trying to do something in EVE is asinine.
Lol, "vast majority of gamers say" is like saying "the vast majority of Justin Bieber fans believe ...." Most of those people want nothing more than instant gratification.
Tell me, if you think like them, why are you here? It makes sense for people like me to be here, I love how EVE is like a 'forever' game, that things take times (so that when a thing is done, it feels good). I don't need instant gratification. But you seem to think that things take too long in EVE.
Do you think that CCP is going to speed things up for you or something?

And yet few of those dreamers are happy. The said they wanted things, CCP gave them things, and they got bored or angry and left, or they are still here and angry lol.
This is why I tell the "change" crowd to be careful what you wish for. their standard retort is of course "you are just afraid of change". I'm not, I simply understand that everything (even progress) comes with a cost and you need to ask yourself if you want to pay that cost.
Lots of people don't even think to ask that question and end up bitter as hell. |

Lots of people don't even think to ask that question and end up bitter as hell. I would agree with "be careful what you wish for". We got all sorts of things we thought we wanted but not everyone liked how it turned out. A little while back I decided to step back from asking for things "I" want. Like smuggling and comet mining because I decided I'd rather be surprised with how ever CCP decided to change Eve. Sometime I liked those surprises, sometimes not so much. But I always enjoy not getting my hopes dashed when I try for a change I think I want and not seeing it happen.
Same.
TBH I think that's the key to happiness. I've actually seen people get so worked up at CCP making a change, or CCP 'not responding to their feedback', or CCP not doing something they want, that they rage on the forums and even rage quit the game. They always come back and I sometimes get a laugh from it, but damn, it's just not that crucial lol.
